Catalog backup question

One paragraph in the manual that I'm not 100% sure on is when its says:

"A frequency-based schedule ensures that the catalog backup has an opportunity to run in busy environments where backup jobs are running"

Can someone please explain why this is and why a calender schedule isn't as good for this?  I'm sure it's very simple by I need to clear it in my head.

If I'm looking at the same bit as you, it isn't comparing frequency with calendar based schedules, but referring to the incremental backups running either by frequency or after each backup session. Which makes the statement a little clearer! ;)

Thanks Andy.

Yep, its just the way I was reading it.  I was looking too far into it ;)

Cheers.

You sometimes do read too much into some things, expecting problems that aren't there, looking for solutions where there isn't a problem - or is that just me?! ;)

Definitely not just you, I find this a lot with that guide for some reason.

Thanks again.
