Changing logging Diagnostic Level

Merras23
Level 2
Please ignore this thread, I just had to be patient and wait for 10 minutes before it took effect.

We run Netbackup 6.5.2 with around 70 clients backuping up around 2Tb a night. For some reason our unified logs have grown massive. Just over the last 24 hours we have had around 100 logs created containing around 5Gb in total. Our current Diagnostic level is set at 6 (finest detail) and I would like to reduce this to 1 or even turn it off to see how much space it saves. We ran into a problem where the EMM database shutdown due to low disk space.

My question is I have ran the vxlogcfg cmd to change the diaglevel to 1 and it runs successfully but when I do a check of the settings it is still set to level6.

Has anybody had similar problems?

M:\>vxlogcfg -a --prodid 51216 --orgid ALL -s DiagnosticLevel=1
The configuration settings were added successfully.

M:\>vxlogcfg  -l -o nbrb -p NB
