Hello all,
I know that officially, this is not supported but i want to ask if there is no workaround for creating a checkpoint for a user archive backup type (UARC).
I am running Netbackup 7.6.0.1 under AIX 6 and I use Standard policies.

Not possible.
All you can do is to enable verbose logging for bpbkar that will contain individual filenames.

Thanks Mariane,
but i did that already.and you r right, i can see the progress but the problem is that if the final status is not ok (0 or 3), then the whole set of files is lost.
It seems that bptm effectively transfer the data from the shared memory to disk only at the end. What do you think, please ?

Not sure what you mean with "... then the whole set of files is lost."
User Archive will only delete files in archive list after backup has completed successfully (status 0).
Status 3:
valid archive image produced, but no files deleted due to non-fatal problems.
The backup portion of the archive command reported problems so the files were not deleted.
