Cluster Exclusions - Which Node do we add these too.

Hi All

I understand the princples of clustering :)

We are backing up a remote cluster.

I have one policy for Cluster Name Drives using the IP address / Cluster Name for these drives.

I can set up a exlusion for the Policy - I hit apply and it updates the Active Node of Cluster. (I can see it in the registry)

Here's the thing: - When the cluster fails from Primary Node to Secondary - how do the exclusions follow across? or do they?

You can use regedit to add the exclusions to the registry.

Hi Bob

Understand that you can add these via registry.

But lets say we have the exclusions for a cluster Node under the cluster name.

If say Node 1 failed over to 2 - becuase you put the exclusions on the cluster name would the exclusion fail across - or do you have to add exclusions to both nodes?

Please let me know if this is unclear I will explain further
