Could I make linux bmrbootable usb with boot iso file?

I failed to boot on server with bootable usb that was made as below method.

dd if=boot.iso of=/dev/sdb bs=1G

But I made it as dvd(cd) then booted server.

Not sire it's supported as such with BMR, but guess you could try it - just keep a DVD copy available just in case.
