Hello
In my company there is a big preoccupation with the entry of IPv6 protocol. We are doing a study about if our tools can support this new protocol.
As we have a very heterogeneous systems are especially worried that NetBackup can support dual stack (IPv4/IPv6). The idea is have a Master server with dual stack and clients with IPv4 and other clients with IPV6.
I looked for information about this but the only thing I found is:
It's possible to use NetBackup 7.0.1 with IPv6 but with some problems (http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH138254)
The next version (NetBackup 7.1) support IPv6 (http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH147815)
Some threads in the forum about if is supported or not (http://news.support.veritas.com/connect/forums/netbackup-ipv6-support)
Any body can help about this question: Will NetBackup 7.1 work with dual stack? Exist any documentation?
Thanks to everybody

Hi,
7.1 is almost avaiable on FA so you might starting getting some responses after that. Until then the documenation etc won't be available as far I know. Hence, most forums users won't be able to give you much guidance (IMHO)
