EV 8.0 BACKUP integration with 6.5.4

Hi,

I have recently upgraded to netbackup 6.5.4. i read somwehere that with 6.5.4 , you do not need that scripts for setting the backup mode on 8.0, is that true?
Because i tried using the windows-nt policy and i don't see that happening?
