**Actually I'm running a virtual Windows Server 2012, X64bit on VMWare.**

**Netbackup Ver 7.6.1.2

**Database backup

Hi all.

I'm getting this error mesesage of "- Info dbclient(pid=14196) ERR - Error in GetConfiguration: 0x80770003". It's backing up of my database running on a VM Windows Server 2012 X64bit. Do advise, thanks.

Please verify account you are  using for SQL backups has privilages of "bulitin administrator group" on windows & "SYSADMIN" privilages in MSSQL, 

Also start Netbackup client services & legacy Network services on your DB client with this use..

In SImple words:

For SQL Server 2012, you must first apply the sysadmin role manually to the NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM or the BUILTIN\Administrators group. Then you can use Local System for the logon accounts for the NetBackup services.

Always best to change logon account for NBU Client Service to SQL user account and not leave it as LocalSystem.
