Anyone ever seen this error before? It is happening on every NDMP host I have when trying to browse and add paths.
Netbackup Version: 7.7.1

You cannot browse a filer .. it uses NDMP protocol to back it up and has no NetBackup client to talk to
You need to speak to your filer admin to get the paths needed to backup ... like /vol0

That is false from what I can tell. I have another environment for my DR site and they browse without issue. Same NB version. If it were not possible why would the button even be there?

I'm sorry, but I don't see how that link helps resolve the question in my original post. My issue is within Netbackup.

What OS is on the filer's? I believe they have to have the API built in, ie specific NetApp versions.

The filers are actually EMC devices...VNX and VMAX types. I can do a quick -verify against them and get the OS information.
