Error :"Failed to update the Shared Resource Tree information in the database"

Hello,

I'm trying to create a Fast restore CD/DVD image in my Netbackup 6.5.2. For some reason in the "Generating ISO 9660 image" phase (Creating a Fast Restore CD/DVD image wizard) I get an error "Failed to update the Shared Resource Tree information in the database".

Any advice how to fix this ?

I had the same issue.. BMR database was broken.. I rebuilded BMR database from scratch and now everything works fine.

How did you rebuild it - Full reinstall? I have around 100 Bare metal Restore Clients in the system and I don't want to loose all that information.

I have tried to rerun "Veritas Netbackup Bare Metal Restore - Master Server Setup Wizard". Wizard completed without any errors with status:

Database Validation successful.

Nothing to upgrade. Version unchanged.

...

...

V127-57 Nothing to setup. Performing BMR DB upgrade

V127-66 Setting up BMR master server completed succesfully.

bmrsetupmaster -force -redo

bmrsetupmaster

bmrsetupboot (on the Boot Server)

You will lose all your BMR data.. Database will rebuild during next backups with BMR option used.
