I am unsure if htis is possible and wanted to see if anyone oculd confirm before an install in a few weeks.
We want to run VMware GRT enabled snapshot abckups of an Exchange 2003 server. This will truncate the transaction logs etc.
During the day,every 4 hours, we wanted to backup the transaction logs. Is this possible through snapshots ( I imagine not) or does it have to be done through the NBU client agent.
If it is through the client agent with a different policy does netbackup understand that hte logs are all from the same place and so we are able to recover the system correctly.
All thoughts appreciated.
