Exporting Backup Policies

Is there a way to export backup policies from NetBackup v6.0 to import into NetBackup v6.5? We are doing a clean install of v6.5 on new servers and do not want to recreate 300+ policies. This is in a Windows Server 2003 environment. Thank you.

Dont have Experience.

You can copy the Policies from Class folder to new server Class folder.

Folder Path: E:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\db\class

Check and let me know the output.

There are some changes in the policy definitions from 6.0 and 6.5
I would try copying some of the files from the class directory on the 6.0 to the class directory on the 6.5. Try at least one policy for each policy type and one for each storage unit defined. Take small steps and test and verify.
