Dear All,
In our Backup infrastructure, 2 Windows File servers are not getting backed up. However under File server backup policy we have Totally 8 servers, out of which 6 are getting backed up but not on 2 servers. Backup Schedule is not running for these 2 file servers.
I checked communication settings between clients and Master server, It looks fine.
In a month backup will happen 3-4 days for those 2 servers.
So please help us is in getting it fixed.

What error is the job failing with. Always mention that.

Hi,
STATUS CODE 150: Backups fail with a NetBackup Status Code 150 (termination requested by administrator), despite no administrator intervention, after a client is moved from an old master server to a new master server.
PS :In Our infra we have one Master and Two Media servers.
We have configured Monthly Full Backup, Weekly cumulative incremental backup and Daily Differential incremental backup in a policy for File Servers.
However for these two file server schedule is not running on daily or weekly even.
Also, It's not reporting as a failed Job in Daily Backup report as well.
Ex: In the month of March Backup happened on 27, 28 and 29 for rest dates it didn't happen. Backup Job Failed notification got only once in a Month on 23rd.

I'm going to guess these are DFS fileservers. Please post Policy information.
All servers in the same policy? If not, show both working & non-working.

Hi Will_Restore,
Yes, all these are DFS fileservers. All Servers are in same policy only.
We have created 3 Schedules under this policy Full Backup(Monthly), cumulative incremental backup(Weekly), differential incremental backup(Daily).
Backup Selection: ALL_Local_Drives.
Please let me know if any other info needs to post in case.

Schedule Job for 2 File Servers is not getting Kick off, For other Servers Job will Kick off and Backup will complete successfully.

ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES recommended only for small shares. More then 50Gb specify full path like this:
Shadow Copy Components:\User Data\Distributed File System Replication\DfsrReplicatedFolders\sharename

DFS can be a real pain. Probably best to break out each fileshare server with its own policy. If trouble persists look to the Event Viewer on the failing servers. Should be some clues there.
