I have a question regarding flashbackup. Is it supported/recommended to take a storage based snapshotof a LUN (EMC/IBM/NetApp/etc.), mount it on a NBU media server, and back up the snapshot using Flashbackup as opposed to a standard agent (as opposed to using flashbackup on the client directly or just mounting the snapshot on the media server and using a standard client)? The particular situation would be a Windows file server and a Windows media server. The data on the particular LUN is a great candidate for Flashbackup as its millions and millions of small files.
