How Can I start Netbackup of particular policy by command.

HI
I want to take a manuall backup of one my client name is sondb & policy name is oradb
Pls. let me know how can I start backup of that policy by command line fom master server.

My master server is solaris 8 with netbackup 6.0.

You can not run user backups from the master server. You can only run backups such as Fulls, Differentials, etc...

bpbackup -p -s


or in your case maybe..

bpbackup -p oradb -s Full ....depending on what schedules you have created for that policy.
