How to Deploy MP4 on Redhat Linux client

Dear All,

I had installed Netbackup 6.0 Ent. Server on windows 2003 Server as my Master Server. I have redhat Enterprise Linux  AS release  4 as my client on which i had installed Netbackup 6.0 client from "All UNIX CLIENT" CD. After taht i had installed MP4 on my master server  (i.e on WINDOWS 2003 Server).

But when i try to install MP4 ( NB_60_4_M_linux.tar) on RedHat Linux Machine it gives me below error:

"Error: NO readable product version file was found. please verify the version file exist".

So can anyone help me how to install MP4 on  RedHat Linux .

try to untar the file then run the install script.

mkdir NBUclient

cd NBUclient

tar -xvf NB_60_4_M_linux.tar

Thanks for your reply, But i had already done it. I had extrated NB_60_4_M_linux.tar file in a tmp folder and tried executing file "Vrts_Pack_Install" at that time it gives me below error

"

"Error: NO readable product version file was found. please verify the version file exist".
