How to get Old backup report

I want to get the old backup report eg:2 months back.Whats the command to generate old backup report?bpdbjobs didnt help

Most of it is gone. What are the specifics you are looking for? There are other commands that you can still use to gather some of the information like bpimagelist for instance.

Otherwise, if you do backups of the masterserver you can restore the jobs database. That is not an easy solution and you may get yourself into a sticky wicket.

unless you've took backups of old logs...then your probably just left with bpimagelist to get stats (successful backups only obviously ).

Hi,

by default, all the backup logs will be deleted after 28 days.

inorder to retain the logs for future purposes you need to change the setting in

Host Properties>global settings>Keep logs

Note: more number of logs requires large amount of space, please consider the space availability before increasing log retention.

normaly no one haves a logging server where you can send all the logs of any of your boxes under your server farm, I will recomend you to try this, it can be a small box with a good amount of disk who can store all the logs regarding your unix and window boxes, including backup logs, DB's and anything that you think u may need in a long or medium term feature, I know that linux has a module who can perform this very easy, just try it.
