Including database name in SQL Server backup reports

douganderson
Not applicable

I have a report that details the status of each of our NetBackup SQL Server jobs. The resultant report gives a lot of useful info, but does not include a database name. This isn't a problem on most servers, but we have some that host a number of databases and it would be nice to be able to see that a particular DB definately backed up OK.

Can the standard Policy Summary Dashboard report be changed to include database name?

Thanks

If you are on NetBackup 7.1 onwards. Use OpsCenter Analytics (OCA) to create Custom report, add Backup selection as one of field which would give you database name as well

PS: Database name format would remain same as it is shown in Activity monitor i.e. db name.date.etc

For OAC you would require analytics license to be purchased
