Invalid Media ID when verifying Catalog

Hi all,

I'd like to do some selections on the Catalog and receive an 'Media ID invalid' message.

We are using NetBackup 8.1.2 on Windows Master with Data Domains.
When I search the Catalog on Client (host name) it reports some images with Media ID @aaaa2 (for example).

With 'nbdevquery -listdv -stype DataDomain' I see some other correct characteristics of @aaaa2.

When I make a selection in the GUI/Catalog on Media ID @aaaa2 and leave all other fields open it always responds with 'Media ID invalid'.

What can be wrong, or can I do wrong? All help appreciated.

Pete

I think you cannot search that media id. Its a reference to a disk pool.

You have to choose the disk type for example "pure disk" and your disk pool.
