Ms-Sql database backup and truncate

Hi Friends,

We have configured MS-Sql Policy by creating Instances for database backup and transaction log backup.

Currently the db Backup was running fine and aswell transaction log also, but the transaction logs are not truncating even I have selected the truncate logs after backup option. Due to this the drive size is Full.

how can I solve this issue how can i delte the transaction logs after backup to free up the space.

My NBU ver:7.7.1

Log truncation happens within the log file, with the file size staying the same. To actually give the file system back this "empty space" within the log file, the DBA can manually or automatically perform a shrink operation.
