Multistream backups duration report

Hi Dears,

I want to create report from backups durations, and have problem with multistreams backups. OPS calculate backup duration by multiple all channels/streams duration, but I need real backup time (from start first channel to end of last channel).

There are no standard reports in NetBackup to do that for you.  And, I very much suspect that OpsCenter cannot do it either.

I very much think that you will have to script something to pick through the bptm logs on the media server(s) writing to tape.

Hi sdo, I think bptm logs only generate at start of backup and write some statistics and I can't any information about end of jobs here,

Try a higher level of bptm logging.

You should see things like this:

Instead of bptm on the media servers - you might be able to pick the info you need from bperror on the master server:

...which is a bit old, but still very relevant.
