NB 6.5.2a - seeing the correct version?

has anybody else installed 2a yet?

I just did to my AIX server, and I know it is installed, I know the pack.summary shows it is installed.

But as the java did not have a 2a, the console still shows 6.5.2

if I go to the client list and my master, it still shows 6.5.2

and if I do a bpgetconfig it still shows 6.5.2

So did they set it up to show that is is 6.5.2a or will it still how 6.5.2 even when you have 'a' installed?

I need to do my windows clients tomorrow and am wondering the same thing ( I don't have to do my unix clients because I was told there is no 2a for unix clients)

Master

NetBackup

Aside from your pack.summary and /usr/openv/netbackup/version, I'm not sure the "A" will show up anywhere else on a UNIX machine.  I have it on my own server here and my Java console comes up "6.5.2" everywhere for it.

However, Windows clients DO show "6.5.2A" - or at least, the one I'm looking at did.  :)  I can only speculate that it's easier to be consistent when you're working with an all-in-one pack as we have for Windows.
