NB60 Multiple Copies

I have just implemented multiple copies for a few of my policies. One copy goes to VTL, is primary copy, and set to expire 2 weeks. Other is written to physical tape and set to expire 1 month.

It seems to work except, I am getting 3 copies, 2 to VTL and 1 to Tape.

Anyone seen this or have any ideas ?

Do you back up to a staging first? Maybe that other copy is the staging copy that hasn't been ereased yet.

No, no staging device. I am kinda thinking it is a parent/child thing but usually the parent does not have files/mb numbers associated with it.

Can u confirm that from the images on media report you can see a copy number 1, 2 and 3 ?
Or do you mean you get 3 jobs from the activity monitor ?
Can you confirm you get these copies written to 3 different media ? Do you have 3 mediaIDs listed with the same Media Expiration Date / Last Written Date from the media list report ?

No there are only 2 media ids being shown for any given day.

Must just be parent/child thing. Just looked strange
