NBU 6.0 toNBU 7.0

Hello everyone!!

I`m a newbie @ NBU and i want to make a question:

I got a NBU 6.x tape and my boss asked me to make a restore @ NBU 7.0 can somebody help me telling me the way i should make the restore to a folder from the tape made @ NBU 6.x

Hi,

So we're assuming that backup was made somewhere else and your current version 7 install doesn't know about it.

Steps

1. Make sure the tape is write-protected
2. Insert it into the library
3. Inventory the library
4. Follow the steps in this note for the rest http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH72429

Presuming the 6.x media is not already in the 7.0 catalog, just follow the normal import process and the restore the image(s).
