Hi
my customer is seeing these errors on restore operation in both the jnbSA and windows version of the console gui. Its been happening since they upgraded to 7.5.0.4 The error message they see is;-
(SR)bplist:
Protocol Code: 224
Status: 227
Time Taken: 875ms
Error Msg: no entity was found
Server Locale: es_ES
TO[0]: -S gsbackup -C rambla -Listpolicy -l -b -P -W -R 1 -t 13 -E -uni

I've seen similar problems reported for NBU 7.1, but not for 7.5.
Has anyone else seen this? Is there a patch available?
I have uploaded the screendump of the gui view just as the error occurs

are you having this issue only for one client or all the clients?
there is a change in catalog formate form 7.1 to 7.5. so it needs a migration..
so catalog migration compleated successfully when you did the upgrade?

Hi Nagalla
there are 2 clients involved where the problem can be replicated in jnbSA
i.) a solaris 10 master svr running
VERSION NetBackup 7.5.0.4
with java version "1.5.0_30"
and
ii.) a windows client with same problem in
Console windows java: "C:\Archivos de programa\Veritas\Java\nbjava.bat"
Running
OS Name: Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Server 2003, Standard Edition
OS Version: 5.2.3790 Service Pack 2 Build 3790
10/16/12 19:20:55 Installed Symantec NetBackup 7.5.0.4 (7.5 Release Update 0 Maintenance Release 4) (NB_75_0_4_H)
It looks like they upgraded from 6.5.3. on client side and from 7.5.0.0 on master server.
I believe catalog migration completed OK.

when you say problem is with Java console (jnbSA). did you try to browse the files from the command line.
using bp or bpadm commands..?
and also let me know the out put of the below command..
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bplist -C <Clientname> -l -b -R 2 /
bpplinfo -policy <policyname> -U
for both windows and solaris clients.
