Is it possible to redirect the .VSP files that Netbackup uses? The currently goto C:\NBU_VSP_Cache\ and don't think this is the best place for them to be stored.

Can you not use VSS instead of VSP for WOFB? Even Symantec recommend not using VSP if at all feasible & I believe is no longer an option for NB7

As far as the cache is concerned there is an option within Client Properties/Windows Client/VSP for "Cache file volume list" which "serves as a list of preferred locations for NetBackup to place VSP cache files" but they are still placed at the root level of the volume.

Why still use VSP?  Rather use VSS for all clients on W2003 or W2008.

If you REALLY must - You can choose snapshot location in Host Properties -> Windows Client -> VSP
