Master and Media Server:
HARDWARE LINUX_RH_X86
VERSION NetBackup 7.5.0.5
NDMP backup hangs until NDMP timeout vaule and fails with 99. Backup hangs for only one volume (tried backup at qtree level) and runs fine for other volumes from the same filer. NetApp admin performed health check on the volume and found no issues with this volume. Volume is 70% occupied.

Thank you watsons. But NDMP PROGRESS TIMEOUT is already set to 24 hours, that is why backup hangs (doing nothing) for 24 hours and fails with 99.
Will try increasing it to 7 days for now. (hope this doesn't affect existing backups).
Any alternative to narrow down this issue is helpful.

Hi,
Can you run this command on Netapp Filer
options ip.fastpath.enable off
Then try to take NDMP Backup and see how it works
