In the policy type, r u using NDMP???
Correct me if i'm wrong here, CIFS do not support any incremental backup.

you may run "bppllist -allpolicies -U" and display the result here.
Change any ip addresses and hostname before posting here.

Hi Kondal,

From Veritas Netbackup side :
Check that in the policy there is mentioned as DIfferential/Cumulative Incremental.

WHat filer you have EMC Cellera / NetApp ?
if its a Celerra filer then check your environment Variables.
In Celerra there is An environment Variable LEVEL its value varies from 0-9
0 - FUll backup
1-9 for incrementals

SAme might be the case with other filers also

Hope this helps!!!
