Hello everyone,
I would like a help,
it is possible to configure netbackup to save only
some directories of a server even if it is virtual (vmware)?

You would need to install NetBackup client software on the virtual machine and then you can configure simple filesystem backups for the client to backup any folder that you would like to specify.. even though it is a virtual machine you would need to ensure basic connectivity from master/media server to this client machine for backups to run successfully..

You cannot specify individual folders for clients with the policy type set to vmware
