Need a PC x86 64bit Windows-Client

Hi !

New backupserver with NetBackup 6 MP4 on Windows Server 2003 SE on a 32bit system.

1.
Now i need a Client for a Windows 2003 Server on a 64bit system, this is not an Iltanium, so i need the PC-x64 client Version 6.
At the moment the Client Version 5.1 is installed.

2.
In the policies configuration for new clients i can�t choose PC-x64 on Windows Server 2003. Only the PC-IA64 on Windows Server 2003 is in the list.
I think i need an entry for the PC-x64 to work fine.

Can anybody help ?

You can't select it because the client isn't installed with it. See the below tech article which references your problem and gives you a link to the download.

Basically,
You can download the NBU 6.0 MP2 x64 client, and then apply MP4 on top.Message was edited by:
