Prasanna,
MS SQL Agent is free with Netbackup Windows Client Software, If you install Client Software automatcially SQL Agent will be installed,
If you install some other agent in a client, It ll list under that folder- contains particular agent log files
If that has no files (0KB) then Its installed but that agent is not acitve at that time !
This is not a Exact way to find the agent installed, But this is also a way !

what do you mean?
netbackup master has its own database.
It's up to you and the admins to know whats kind of databases are running on youre systems...

Check this path C:\Program Files\VERITAS\NetBackup\logs\user_ops
It ll give the agent installed details.
Like mssql,db2,sap,sybase....
If u find mssql folder means sql agent is installed :)

Karthik,
In all windows servers (Nearly 100) i found only "mssql" folder name and folder named "SYSTEM" as well.
Do it mean that all the servers installed with MSSQL agents?????
One more thing under "mssql" folder there are 2 folders named "jobs" and "logs".
In all the servers the folder "mssql" is empty (0 KB).
Any idea??????? please........
