NetApp Backup

I am trying to backup a NetApp filer using Veritas NetBackup 6

The filer's used capacity is around 300Gigs, and it's total capacity is around 500Gigs

I mounted the NetApp filer to a linux server to /mnt (nothing else is mounted on /mnt)
I installed the NetBackup agent on the linux server
I checked Follow NFS in the policy, and I selected /mnt in order to back it up
I started the backup process

The backup started successfully; however, it continued to backup and the backed up capacity reached 550 Gigs
I had to stop it because obviously something is going wrong

any advise on why is it behaving in this way, and what can be done to fix this?

thanks

Make sure policy attribute "Cross Mount Points" is uncheck.

Are you performing a standard backup for flashbackup? Please post your bppllist <policy_name> -U

bppllist  - notice the difference is "pl" insertion

Can I ask why you would not just do an NDMP back on this filer?
