hi

I don't think so
according to the Symanec documentation you need separate boot/BMR server for every platform and OS

In fact, the BMR master server can be on any platform, Windows, Solaris, Linux, etc...

But, for the boot server, it's different. If you want to restore Windows, you need to have a Windows Boot server and if you want to restore Linux, you need to have a Linux boot server. BUT, but, but... you need to have a boot server for every linux distribution you want to restore, Redhat, Suse, etc...

Thanks for the reply back.  I ended up talking with a Symantec tech and he relayed to me the same information that you stated.  Can't thank everyone enough for the good advise and correct information.  Thanks.
