Would anyone know the answer to these questions:
If I have a volume that has VSS enabled on it such that previous versions of files are kept as VSS copies, does DFS-R replicate these copies such that they are available on the DFS-R server should the original server be lost? If not, would enabling VSS on the DFS-R server keep the previous versions as files are replicated?
I am guessing the above is not possible in which case I would like to use NetBackup to backup the DFS-R server. If I do this, is NetBackup DFS-R aware so that if I restore I file, DFS-R will replicate it correctly?
Can NetBackup be used to backup the VSS copies?
