NetBackup tcp services

Hi,

Assuming I have a UNIX AIX client with multiple network interfaces. I'm just wondering if it's possible to bind the tcp services, e.g. bpcd, vnetd, etc.. specified in the /etc/inetd.conf to a particular network interface.

By default, these services are listening on all network interfaces on the client.

I've searched the Symantec KB and read the NetBackup docs and I could not find any information about this.

Any tips or guidelines are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

If you go to the properties page for the client under "Universal settings" you will find a place to enter the IP address that you want to force Netbackup to use.Message was edited by:
