Netbackup 7 NetApp NDMP

Have Symantec made any improvements to the NDMP backup of NEtApp filers? Or is there another way to do this now with NetBackup 7?
Will Dedupe work with the above?

Im not sure i understand the question.  I am currently backing up NetApp filers using NDMP with NB 6.5.5 and have no issues other than trying to understand how to properly set it up.  The volumes i am backing are being deduped as well.

Or are you refering to the SnapVault features?

I'm trying to do the same, set up a backup of a NetApp filer using NDMP with NetBackup 6.5.  How did you get it set up?  I can't get it working to save my life!
