Netbackup VMWARE backup

 i have 1 VM server which which is getting backed up by VM policy. 1 of the drive attached to the server is not getting backed up in the full backup as well.

All the drives are coming from data store and i have not excluded any of the drive.

It sounds like the indexing of the drive is failing.  Without reviewing the VxMS logs it would be difficult to tell why.

Verify the filesystem on the VM is supported for mapping?

Verify the VMDK is not set to Indepedent Persistent or is not a RDM attached disk.

Check and confirm with your vmware admins if the drive getting missed is independent disk or RDM ?

Thanks for the response, Yes the disk was an independent Persistent disk
