Netbackup client installation on solaris local/non-global zones

We have Oracle databases running on Solaris local zones. This is a sparc hardware and Solaris version is 11. We are at NB version 8.x . What are the pre-install steps to follow on a local and global zones. And I noticed on a local zone where we already installed NB client, one strange thing while RMAN user initiated backup is running a local zone doesn't report any extra client processes other than the default start-up processes. However when I run OS backup from NB server i can see bpbkar running. Are we missing something?

bpps o/p  from local zone when RMAN/DB backup is running (client initiated):

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpps -x

Re: Netbackup client installation on solaris local/non-global zones

Hello @DPO

I understood what you say... but with that fact no processes being showed up for Oracle Backup, is it that Oracle Backup failing instantly or completes successful ?

Re: Netbackup client installation on solaris local/non-global zones

Backups are working fine and showing successful. But while the backup is running we don't see any other processes like bpbkar etc in local zone, global zone apart from the usual start-up processes vnetd, bpcd, nbdisco, pbx etc
