We just upgraded our netbackup to 6.5.1 in our hp-ux 11.23 servers. Compared with previous version it has nbclient installed for system start up and shut down. It shows it runs nbftcht, which checks the SAN of the system. But I can not find the process is running in the system when system is up and I checked file bp.conf and don't see any problem of the setting of the server and the client. Although nbftclnt is for checking the HBA does that mean it had to be there if there is SAN connection. And if it is not there, will the SAN files be backed up?
