OST and non OST poolicies

Hi Can you have policies writing to storage attached using OST and different storage attached not using OST with the same media servers

What type of different storage do you have in mind?

It is perfectly fine to have OST storage and tape storage (for example) on the same media server.

It will be datadomain and basic storge via normal NFS mount

Yes. You can add basic disk and Advanced disk STU for the same media server.

Just bear in mind that there are certain limitation for Basic Disk, for example, cannot be used in SLP.
Also limited choices as far as Storage Unit Group is concerned (details in NBU Admin Guide).

Sure no problem at all.

Just because they both uses NFS they don't mix up.

If using NFS on Data Domain please keep the special mount option required in mind.
