Operation inhibited by NetBackup for Microsoft SQL Server etc

Hello all,

I'm new to NBU 6 (MP2) and I'm trying to back up a couple of databases/transaction logs. I have received the following error on a couple of jobs:

INFO Operation inhibited by NetBackup for Microsoft SQL Server: Only a full backup can be performed on the master database.

INFO Operation inhibited by NetBackup for Microsoft SQL Server: Only a full or incremental database backup can be performed on database because it uses the simple recovery model or has 'truncate log on checkpoint' set.

I'm not quite sure what these mean. Am I getting a backup - there are files being written for each job...

Any help or pointing in the right direction for the solution gratefully received.

Have found the reason for the master message - my own fault.

However, I still have a few jobs which report the 'inhibited message'

e.g.

INFO Operation inhibited by NetBackup for Microsoft SQL Server: Only a full or incremental database backup can be performed on database because it uses the simple recovery model or has 'truncate log on checkpoint' set.
