Prepare for Restore a Linux client

Hello!

I have an IBM Blade with RHEL4.6 x86_64 with SAN boot disk. The boot disk have 8 path and it uses /dev/dm-2 device file. I've created a SRT for this Linux, and I've made a CD bootable (I cannot use dhcp). How can I prepare for restore this client? I cannot prepare for restore because BMR cannot see /dev/dm-2, BMR only can see /dev/sdxx.

Hi Carbizu,

You are right, BMR does not yet support these types of disks.

I'd recommend that you contact Symantec support and they might be able to solve the problem for you.

Just out of curiosity, can you provide me the bundle.dat from your client (from /usr/openv/netbackup/baremetal/client/data)?
