Problem with SAP database backup

Hi,
I have an SAP type backup policy for my SAP server using net backups. If i manually execute the backup job, it works fine and completes successfully. But, if it runs on its defined time schedule, it fails with error code 6. I found log files in the folloing directory, is there anyone who could help me to resolve the problem? Thanks in advance

/usr/openv/netbackup/logs/bphdb

this is most likely a name resolution issue.

Update the hosts file on the client and master/media server

   Can u provide logs from SAP backup directory & also provide backint logs.
