Procedure to Migrate Netbackup 6.5 Windows to Solaris

Hi all,

I would like to know if there is a documented procedure to migrate Netbackup 6.5 Windows to NetBackup 6.5 for Solaris.
I know there is one on 5.1 version, but I can not apply to 6.5 version.

Silvio - are you asking about migrating NetBackup Master server, or Media server, from Windows to Solaris?

There's definitely a detailed procedure for migrating Windows Masters to Solaris - and your Consulting branch loves charging everyone in sight for it. =) 

I'm sure if you ask nicely they won't charge your cost center more than an arm and a leg. Or maybe just an arm since you can use your employee discount....

Ask for the version that doesn't use the merge_util utility - manual is much more likely to succeed.
