Redirect Resotre Sharepoint

Hi,

I’m trying to recover Sharepoint Portal (without GRT option) in my test environment.

But job is not initiating.

Following is my test environment

NBServer = Domain and NetBackup server

Winserver1=Sharepoint portal server (all options in single server) SQL Server 2005 SP3 (x32)

Winserver2=Sharepoint portal server (all options in single server) SQL Server 2005 SP3 (x32)

I’ve created following WebApps on winserver1

Name	URL
SharePoint - 11153	http://winserver1:11153/
SharePoint – 80	http://winserver1:80/

I’ve take successfull backup (non GRT) of winserver1. screenshot is attached. 

I’ve deleted webapp from SPS adminconsole and trying to restore Sharepoit-80 on same server but job is not initiation. I’m not using any “Distributed Application Restore“ as all options are installed on sinlge server.

Any idea why restore is not happening. My ultimate taget is to check redirect restore.

Bpresolver is also attached from winserver1.

bprd log on master server should be able to tell you what's wrong...

Have you check the SharePoint Admin Guide, the restore chapter haves a lot of details to consider I think it will not hurt if you compare your actual process with the guide.
