SAN Backups Failing - VixDiskLib_Open() error: 13

NetBackup 7.6.0.4 Master/Media server on the same Server 2012R2 box.

VMWare environment is 5.1.

SAN transport type for several VMs failing over to NBD.

The difference between failing and succesful SAN Transport seems to be this entry in VxMS log:

VixDiskLib_Open() error: 13

Anybody have an easy fix before I spend more hours searching for an answer?

Did you check if the datastore luns are zoned and visible on the OS? I've gotten this error when someone created new datastores and forgot to zone them to the media server(s).

Thanks. Same recommendation came from one of the NetBackup gurus here.

I think I can see all of the LUNs from within Disk Management. I'm talking with the SAN administrator to see if he can double-check the zoning.

SAN admin missed a whole page of luns that needed to be made available to the media server. Backups are running across the SAN now.
