The SAN client Backup is not running via FT transport mode, it's completing with LAN.

In Job details showing the message "resource (FT Storage unit) - FT client has no devices configured"

In CMD, C:\Users\******>nbftconfig -listactive

            No active connections found

FT Media server status - FT Enabled : Yes ; FT state : Active

Did you run 'install_path\NetBackup\bin\bpclntcmd.exe -sanclient 1 '  on the client to enable SAN Client Fibre Transport Service?

Did you follow steps in the manual to validate client config?

Can you see client in Media and Device Management -> Devices -> SAN Clients?

Also, I have run the command  bpclntcmd.exe -sanclient 1  on SAN client.

But i am still getting the below meesage in Bakcup Job details and its starts running via LAN.

- awaiting resource STU1- No drives are available
- awaiting resource STU1 - FT client has no devices configured.

From last week only i am facing this issue, before that the backups were run via FT only.

Hi Ram,

Please check FT media server bp.conf file

1st - master server name

2nd - media server name

And also check SAN client hostname should be same in master,FT media & SAN client (i.e,bp.conf,/etc/host file and SAN client policy)
