Start Backup via Rest API

Guys, I'm running Netbackup 8.1.2 and looking to kick off a backup policy using the REST API. Is this possible? Only started using the REST API so not that familiar with it. Any guidance on the URI to call would be great!

It's not possible in 8.1.2 but it's included in 8.3 (didn't check 8.2).

So checked API ref and 8.2/8.3 is supported but I don't see an API for 8.1.2. I'm blocked until September until version 3.3 of the appliance is available so I guess I have to wait until then :)
