Status code 84/800

Hi All,

My daily incremental is failing with status code 84 & incomplete jobs showing with 800.
We have master (6.5.2) & media server in one box runs on  Win2k3
Data is backed up to storage unit using CIFS and datadomain box.

Actually the backup goes to shared location

Tier 1 policies & tier 4 are failing with above error.
Tier 2 policies are backed up successfully.

All the data goes to same box..so i think there is no point of disk down coz even 2 or 3 jobs writes on the storage unit .


Disk logs says that "cannot write image to disk, Invalid argument"
Problems report says-NBU status: 800, EMM status: Disk volume is down

Please advice.

By Administrator's Guide, to configure multiple BasicDisk STUs on same volume is not allowed.
STU sometimes down whenI did it. Once downed, I had to restart NetBackup.

If you never restared, try it first! And If you have wrong configutation like above, I recommend you to reconfigure, if possible.

Yea.I restarted NBU.
Now its working fine..
