Suddenly 2106 status

Hello,

I've a problem with this status. My storage server is down and and my diskpool is up.

On my media server, Spoold and Spad are running.

I've notice in eventlog :

"The description for Event ID 1 from source spoold cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

25002: _crDataStoreClass::_storeCheckOneGroup: could not unlink D:\Veritas\backup\data\4550\.shareid (The system cannot find the file specified. )

Do you have any idea to resolve this issue ?

My master and media are in 8.1.

Hello @AnthonyBar

Is the MSDP Data volume hosted on D: or E: ? Do you see that mounted ?

Hi @AnthonyBar

The 25002 error from the spoold log can be safely ignored as this relates to HA MSDP which is not available for BYO (only with NetBackup appliances).

The "spoold -trace" error appears to be due to an already running instance, so is possibly not relevant to the problem.

The question from @pats_729 is relevant - is all the expected MSDP storage available and good.

Assuming it is, what happens when you stop and restart NetBackup services on the media server (you may need to force kill some processes - so a reboot may be a simpler process).

David

Disk used on media server for dedup is D: which is currently online.
